MCLS Asia Co., Ltd. is located in WHA Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut) Rayong, Thailand, a manufacturer of high quality sweetener Maltitol from Tapioca Starch in compliance with a variety of global standards and with high technology.

We were founded in 2003 and officially started business operation on 24th November, 2005 under the name of MC-Towa International Sweeteners Co., Ltd. Recently we changed our name to MCLS Asia Co., Ltd. on 1st October, 2019

Our Business

Beside our production of Maltitol, we enlarge our business to trade a variety of high quality food ingredients which are mainly produced by Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited (MCLS) which is our mother company in Japan and one of the leading food ingredients companies in the world.

We can contribute to support our customer’s need to develop delicious and healthy foods in South East Asian Countries by offering a wide range of MCLS products and technical supports.

Security &

  • Monitor on the pollution of wastewater and air pollution, the results are very low which ensure that it will not affect the environment.

  • Continuously improve wastewater and air pollution treatment systems to be high efficiency.

  • The safety committee takes responsibility for safety matters.

  • Set up the criterion of safety to monitor the safety condition of every job, employee, and the related person.

  • Encourage all employees to join in safety operations, check the equipment and machines. Also, the emergency fire drill practicing is held periodically.

Kosher: Conform to the regulations of kashrut (Jewish dietary law). Food that may be consumed according to Jewish law.


GMP: Good Manufacturing Practice
HACCP: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points for food safety to prevention finished product inspection from physical, chemical, biological hazards and safe for customer.
Halal: Permissible to use or engage in, according to Islamic law. Foods that are permissible for Muslims to eat or drink.


TLS-8001: Thai Labor Standards, Social Responsibility of Thai Businesses by specifying work rules regarding employment conditions, working conditions and safety at work are standardized.


Carbon Footprint: The amount of greenhouse gas emitted from various departments throughout the product's lifespan, which reduces the use of various components in the form of products equivalent to carbon dioxide per unit of product.


FSSC 22000: Food Safety System Certification is International Standard specifies requirements for food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.

MCLS Asia Co., Ltd. realize that Customer Satisfaction is a vitally important matter for the prosperity and growth of the Company Business together with the company’s accountability toward our customers, employees and the communities surrounding us. Therefore, we set an appropriate management strategy and plan with a focus on individual responsibility in each organizational section. This as a whole, will cover the need to establish our customers’ trust, and on the delivery of safe products that assure consumers health, conform to international GFSI recognized standards, comply with religious requirements and are proper for consumers. Part of this focus is on the development of the quality of employee work life, security and safety as well as environment impacts protection under principles of social responsibility.


1. Stable supply of high quality products at specific international standards or higher as well as process in compliance with a variety of strict global standards that comply with statutory regulatory requirements, mutually agreed customer requirements, including requirements of Food Safety systems, Quality systems and religious

2. Establish an appropriate strategy and plan with reviews, objectives and evaluations to control and remove any risk which impact on Quality, Food Safety and service, and focus on implementing root cause prevention at the beginning.

3. Respect all employees and ensure employees are confident that they are well protected under Labor Laws, Thai Labor Standards and other related regulations.

4. Operate legally, comply with GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards and other requirements of environmental, safety and security regulations.

5. Encourage and support proactive improvement of working conditions that give no impacts to environmental conditions or working safety.

6. Continuous improvement with smart objectives as per requirements of Quality, Food Safety and religious principles.

7. Require all employees including all subcontractors to be conscious that “Quality and Product Food Safety that effects consumer’s health are our responsibility”.

8. Communicate Internally to all employees, and apply at all levels within the organization including subcontractors and Communicate Externally to relevant interested parties to ensure understanding of these principles and gain acknowledgement thereof.

MCLS Asia Co., Ltd. provides customers all over the world with its high quality sweeteners manufactured at its factory, made from the natural resources, tapioca, in compliance with a variety of severe global standards and provides customers with safe delivery and services for customers’ satisfaction. Beside our production of Sweeteners, we enlarge our business to trade a variety of high quality food ingredients.


MCLS Asia Co., Ltd. has been designed for a food factory concept under GFSI based of GHPs, HACCP, Food Safety using high technology of plant processing support from the mother company, Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited in Japan, and operating safely under related laws and regulations including not only local but also national and international ones for maintaining the good working place and good environment for communities.
